This album is a truly Moonmine essence. Moonmine is a pure concentrate of melody, harmony, rhythm, gentleness and roughness. Iconoclasm and rejection of common thought. Soft in its tickling the sensitive soul's strings, harsh in its cry of freedom.
Freedom is the main ingredient of his works, of his life. A continuous research that through a music that we could classify in the broadest sense of the "pop" term embraces all the possible influences of the past, present and future, defining a way of doing well recognizable, identifying.
Its pop is free. Free from labels, catalogs, rules or pre-established dogmas.
He filters his instinct and his knowledge through a profound reworking of the most unspeakable inner vibrations.
Moonmine works completely alone. In all respects. "DIY" philosophy. And it wants to get anywhere, all over the world.
He is totally independent: he writes and composes, records, produces, manages relationships, plays live as a pure one man band armed with guitar, voice and loop station.
After an acclaimed debut EP, which in Italy has been defined as "innovative", and after two singles including "What You Give", highly appreciated in its fusion of pop, funk, rock, blues and which has expanded its public Moonmine brings to everyone's attention the EP MY REVOLUTION, a fresh, short, intense and deep, raw, transitory work. A suspended and evolved passage of his being in the world, which reflects the moods of volunteer isolation from a social frame that does not belong to him and that at times he despises. A cry of disapproval towards social rules that limit and weaken the pure and sincere essence of being human, slaves of form and image without content.
MY REVOLUTION prepares the ground for another, great and complete album which will be released by the end of 2021. Where the definitive message of Moonmine will be clear.
